CrossFit Terms Defined

There are a lot of terms that are used in CrossFit. Make sure you give this a quick review to avoid feeling lost during your first WOD (defined below 😉). We'll continue to add to this list as we go, so feel free to revisit it on occasion!

AMRAP - As many reps as possible

DB - Dumbbell

EMOM - Every minute on the minute; which means you'll complete one round every time the clock strikes a new minute

KB - Kettlebell

Rep - Repetition; the way we count number of times done

ROM - Range of motion

Rx'd - as prescribed; the weight is predetermined for the workout

Set - A grouping of repetitions

WOD - Workout of the day

This looks like a lot to take in, but you'll start getting the hang of it as we go! 😊
